MARK BAUSCH was an NSF Undergraduate Research Participant, University of Missouri, in 1979; received his B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Evansville, in 1980; and received his M.S. and Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1982 and 1984. He was employed at Corporate Research Laboratories of the General Electric Company from 1985 to 1986. Dr. Bausch joined the faculty at SIUC in 1987. He was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 1992.
